Psalm 46: Strength
Drop anchor. Seek refuge. Receive strength. These directives gain momentum amidst the storms of life. These past two weeks we considered Psalms 46 and 57. This week we return to Psalm 46 to focus on strength and power. Our faith stories give us an ironic message: we find greatest strength when we are at our weakest point. It is in our weakness that God is most known to be strong. So what then is strength? The moment God’s life is most welcome in ours.
