Psalm 46: Be Still & Know
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Sometimes, for our own health and well-being, we simply need to be reminded of how safe and secure God truly is. In the midst of a tumultuous world, where do we turn for refuge? As we experience weakness, who do we turn to for strength? When we experience trouble, where do we look for help? Psalm 46 reminds us of two actions we must take: be still and know that God is God. If he is God, then who or what is not?
